Baby guide that I found hard to find by research.
The online videos say you just need to prepare a brooder bath, this is because they are only focused on the shopping part.
I needed some wide bottle caps, completely recommend baby feed such as Nutribird A21, and really ensuring the whole box is 35°C and 65% humidity by thermometer it is obligation for the newborns, they need lots of attention they might fall under the bedding and need immediate assistance, one of my chicks fell asleep in the food and the heating mat underneath wasn't enough to save it, outside the heat bulb zone.

Brush piles are intentional stacks of branches and logs that offer shelter, escape routes, and thermal cover.
If your quail eat seeds, greens, or insects: they must have hard granite grit.
Oyster shell cannot replace grit—it’s like trying to chew with chalk instead of teeth.
Chopped vegetables (pea-sized or smaller) Most adult quail Preserves texture for gizzard grinding; encourages pecking and foraging May need grit if fibrous or raw.
Mashed vegetable (soft, blended) Chicks under 2 weeks, sick or elderly birds Easy to digest; good for recovery or hydration Less engaging; bypasses natural pecking instincts
Spirulina fish food is safe, Avoid flakesfrombirth grind all food into powder, with copper sulfate or preservatives that may harm birds. Munchies not pellets for babies.
Water idea
1 cup warm water (filtered or boiled and cooled)
2 teaspoons molasses or granulated sugar (energy source)
1/8 teaspoon sea salt (sodium for hydration)
1/8 teaspoon baking soda (balances pH and supports digestion)
(Optional) 1/8 teaspoon potassium chloride losalt.
Alternative with:
Chopped up cloves garlic.
Apple cider vinegar.
Honey.
Discard any unused solution after 24 hours and return to fresh water.
Avoid giving this daily to healthy chicks—it’s a supportive tonic, not a regular drink.
Paper towels put on top new if you can't be bothered to change the first few days then large bedding they can't eat.
Paper-based bedding, pine shavings, grass hay, and organic soil are all suitable materials for a quail’s enclosure not cedar.
